The College has established a Women Empowerment Cell in the college campus to empower and safeguard the rights of female members; faculty, staff and students of the College. The WEC works to promote gender sensitivity in the college and conduct diverse programs to educate, sensitize both male and female members and produce harmonious atmosphere on the campus. It works for the welfare of the students and faculty towards preparing them in to competent professionals to take up greater challenges in the academic sphere. Aiming at intellectual and social upliftment of the female students and staffs, the cell stands for facilitating women’s empowerment through guest lectures, seminars, awareness programs and other welfare activities.
1. To organize events and activities for women empowerment and to create an environment to realize their full potential.
2. To conduct workshops and awareness programs with a motive to train girls about self-defense, health benefits and skill development.
3. To empower the status of women through education, raising awareness, literacy and training.
4. To empower women to make life-determining decisions through the different problems in society.
5. To create social awareness about the problems of women particularly regarding gender discrimination.
6. To develop the self-confidence of Women.
7. To guide about Women Welfare Laws.
8. To directs Women’s role in the society.
9. To develop multidisciplinary approach for the overall personality development.
